COVID-19 has unfortunately claimed another surf sports event – the 2021 Gardner Junior Ironperson on the Central Coast has been cancelled.

Wamberal SLSC has decided to cancel the “Gardner” which was scheduled for the 2nd of January 2021.

NSW Health have advised people not to travel unnecessarily and with over 200 participants we have had no other option but to cancel the event.

Furthermore, over the years the Sydney and Northern Beaches clubs have been huge supporters of the “Gardner”. We felt it would not be the same event without their participation. We wish everyone on the Northern Beaches in particular the very best.
